THE DAGWER'S UPDATE

If you have been following the Dagwers on social media or received our most recent email update, then you already know that we safely made it to the United States! We praise God for His protection and faithfulness throughout the journey, especially considering the many challenges we faced while traveling out of Nigeria.

As I write this update, Makayla and I are currently on a flight to Mexico for a long-awaited trip. We are especially grateful to my father and mother-in-law, who are lovingly caring for our children while we are away.The primary purpose of our trip is to connect with, learn from, and seek partnership opportunities with an orphan ministry in Puebla, Mexico called Living Hope International. They have faithfully operated for more than three decades, and we are excited for the opportunity to learn from their experience in areas such as child care and transition, child sponsorship, vocational and skill-acquisition training, schooling, ministry training, and church planting.

Our prayer is that this trip will help equip us to better lead Seeds of Hope Nigeria in the direction we believe God is calling us. As many of you know, Seeds of Hope is still a young ministry, yet it continues to grow rapidly because of your prayers, encouragement, and faithful financial partnership. We desire to steward well the resources and opportunities God has entrusted to the ministry, and we believe this time of learning will greatly help strengthen the foundation for the future.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support for our family and the ministry. We are looking forward to eventually getting settled into the home we found in Green Bay and cannot wait to share the many testimonies of all the Lord has done during this season.

Please continue praying with us for the following:

• Safety for Makayla and me as we travel.

• That we would be positively impacted by all we learn and gain wisdom in applying what will best serve Seeds of Hope Nigeria.

• That our one year in the United States will be fruitful and spiritually enriching.

• For our children as they adjust and embrace all that God has for them during this season.

• Continued protection over the children, staff, our family, and believers in Nigeria.

• That God would strengthen the faith of believers and continue to spread the Gospel to the lost, especially among Muslim communities.

• For God’s intervention against the violence, kidnappings, and persecution affecting believers in Nigeria.
