Dear Friends,
As we remember and celebrate what Jesus Christ has done for us on the cross, we are reminded of His great love and sacrifice that brought us redemption and new life.
At the Safe House, we marked the day by reminding ourselves about the heart of servanthood—how Christ came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. It was a meaningful time of reflection and learning for us. We ended the time together by exemplifying servanthood through washing the children’s feet, communion, and a celebration of what Christ has done for us.
As we celebrate, let us also remember our brothers and sisters in Nigeria and around the world who are currently being persecuted for their faith in Christ. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. That all this will draw many to Christ and strengthen our faith in Him!
