Promise came to Seeds of Hope Nigeria after the loss of his father to illness and the increasing challenges his mother faced in caring for him. Following attacks on their village by Muslim Fulani herdsmen, the situation became even more difficult, prompting his mother to seek a safer and more stable environment for her son.

In the hope of providing him with security and better opportunities, Promise was brought to the Safe House on December 17th, 2021, where he is now being raised in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
