Zakka came to Seeds of Hope Nigeria after the tragic loss of his father, who was killed during a Muslim attack on their village. In the aftermath of the crisis, his mother later remarried and relocated, leaving Zakka in the care of his elderly grandmother.

As her health declined, his grandmother found it increasingly difficult to provide the long-term care he needed and sought assistance from Seeds of Hope Nigeria. Zakka was welcomed into the Safe House on December 17th, 2021, where he now lives in a safe and supportive environment while continuing his education and personal development.
