John lost his mother, and his father struggles with alcoholism and abuse. His uncles, who had been caring for him, could no longer provide due to economic hardships and ongoing attacks in his village.

John arrived at Seeds of Hope on March 16th, 2022, where he now lives in a safe, nurturing home with access to care, education, and opportunities to thrive.
