Shadrach lost his father during an attack by Boko Haram (an Islamic Terrorist group), and his mother later passed away after a brief illness. His grandmother, who had also lost her husband in the crisis, was left caring for Shadrach and nine other grandchildren.

Unable to meet all their needs, she reached out to Seeds of Hope Nigeria for assistance. Shadrach arrived at the Safe House on December 27, 2022, where he now receives care, education, and a supportive environment to grow and thrive.
