Bernard came to Seeds of Hope Nigeria following the tragic loss of his mother, who was murdered. With his father unknown, Bernard was left in the care of his elderly grandmother. After violence in their village further destabilized their situation, his grandmother found it increasingly difficult to provide for his needs.

In search of a safer and more supportive future for him, she reached out to Seeds of Hope Nigeria. Bernard was welcomed into the Safe House on March 16th, 2022, where he now lives in a secure and nurturing environment.
